Summer KOREA 2014 - Itinerary Part 3

14 August (Thursday)

- Breakfast at Hotel
- Subway to Cityhall to take Shuttle bus to EVERLAND

Reached Everland Station still have to take another free shuttle bus to the Everland Maingate.

Why so far~~~~~

Haha. I think the one at the forth row hands up is me

"I'll rest my head here while the rain hits me...

Lucky us they didn't stop operating the rides even though its raining. Hehe

Spin spin spin me like a siao zhar bor.

Lunch time... The only place we went in Korea that food portion was not big.

Rain rain rain~ Hello white tigers ^_^

Black bear by our bus, begging the bus driver to feed him more food.

I love how the animals get to roam around their territory freely at Lost Valley!

We got to see them up close, and in air-conditioned bus.

- Back to Cityhall

We gathered back at the station around 6~6:30pm.

Traffic jam and we ended up reaching about an hour late. Oh well~

- Dinner

Wanted to go to the Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain but we went the wrong direction and ended up giving up for dinner. Sigh~ maybe next time...

Finally FRIED CHICKEN!!

15 August (Friday)

- Brunch at Hongdae
Maybe we were too early or we dropped at a more ulu side, most of the shops were closed. So we settled in one.

Mandooooooooo

- Shopping
Well we walked from Hongdae to Sinchon, then spent sometime at Hyundai Department Store and then to Ewha Womans University.

Eat. Shop. Eat. Shop. That's what we did.

The shaved milk ice so extremely yumzzzzz! but BRAINFREEZE!

I was shivering by the time we finished it. but it's so nice :D

Passed by this shop and was tempted in by the banner stands outside.

Improvised Tteobokki stew. The maggie mee absorbed the sauce and its so heavenly!

- Jimjjilbang (Korean Spa)

Happy Day Spa at Hongdae. Good thing the counter ahjumma can speak a little bit of English because we were damn lost inside.

- Shopping at Lotte Mart

Finally, groceries shopping at Seoul station Lotte Mart. We went crazy and end up arranging the goods to be sent back to Singapore by EMS. Delivery was super fast! We got it in around 3 or 4days.

 16 August (Saturday)

- Brunch

We didn't know how to read the menu.

Luckily there is someone who speaks English and recommended to us on what to order :D

Yay to Korean BBQ!!!

- Shopping at Myeongdong
If you want to Exchange Currencies, Myeongdong is full of Money Changer.
& the rates are not too bad.

- Daehangno
More Shopping!

Was too tired from all the walking when we arrived Daehangno,

so we settled down awhile for an ice cream

Their ice cream is so-so only.... Kinda disappointing

- Dongdaemun

We continued our shopping at Dongdaemun, but ended up too tired because of the SO MUCH WALKING for the past few days. We were already dragging our feet. So didn't buy much there.

- Dinner

Walked to Grilled Fish Street to look for our dinner.

Spicy pork & Super yummy fish!

& we were given the smaller fish for free. Too much food! Super filling man. 

- Cheonggyecheon Stream

Took a walk down Cheonggyecheon Stream back to our Hotel.

A very nice place to sit down have a small picnic or chillax :)

17 August (Sunday)

- To the airport
Taxi back to Incheon Airport - 65,000 KRW

- Tax Refund procedures
- Breakfast
- Tax Free shopping!

- FLY BACK HOME
